Anderson Silva Against Julio Cesar Chavez Jr on June 19

The 45-year-old MMA Legend Anderson Silva has signed a contract to fight the 35-year-old Julio Cesar Chavez Jr in a 10-round boxing match on June 19 at Jalisco Stadium in Guadalajara, Mexico. The Fight will be available live on pay-per-view titled the “Tribute to the Kings”.

Silva had been trying to get back in the boxing ring for many years with Roy Jones Jr. but the match never happened. Silva is 1-1 as a professional boxer he has had 2 matches in 1998 and in 2005.

Chanvez Jr. last fought in November 2020 where he stopped Jeyson Minda. The son of the Mexican boxing legend is 52-5-1 as a professional boxer and held title from 2011 to 2012.

According to the TMZ Report there will also feather a boxing exhibition match between Chavez Sr. against the son of his former rival Hector “Macho” Camacho, Hector Camacho Jr.
