Anthony Joshua got his revenge and beat Andy Ruiz Jr. in their much-anticipated rematch with a unanimous decision in the 12-round heavyweight bout at the Diriyah Arena in Diriyah, Saudi Arabia. Joshua won back his heavyweight championship from Ruiz with the judges scoring the fight 119-109, 118-110 and 118-110.
Joshua regained the WBA, WBO, IBF and IBO heavyweight world titles with the victory. The win over Ruiz has re-established him as one for the top draws in the heavyweight divisions. Joshua is on his way to becoming a complete champion.
