Exciting match at the Banc of California in MLS Week 2

The LAFC and Philadelphia Union put a great display of soccer in a clear night at the Banc of California stadium home of the Los Angeles Football Club located in the heart of LA.

LAFC had the possession by 63% and most shots (21) and shots (11) on target but the game was back and forward the whole match but Union led three times but LAFC managed to come back each time and finished 3-3.

The Los Angeles Football Club (LAFC) started the game with a goal by Diego Rossi that was denied in 3' min by the referee due to being caught in offside. Rossi once again had another opportunity early on in the 6' min that took a power shot but Union's Andre Blake goalkeeper had a great save. In the 29' min Brazilian Sergio Santos scored a beautiful curl from outside the box putting it away from LAFC goalkeeper Kenneth Vermeer. The LAFC captain Carlos Vela scored his 50th MLS regular season goal in the 38' min with a beautiful curl to the top corner away from Union's keeper.

In the first minutes of the second half Center Back Norwegian Jakob Glesnes drills a 35 yard a power shot to put the Union 2-1 in the 48'min. A minute later Rossi curled a shot inside the box passed Union's goalkeeper to equalize the game 2-2. Brenden Aaronson was left in the penalty mark alone to covert the 3 Philadelphia goal in the 68' min.  In the 71'min after a poor corner deflection from Union keeper Andre Blake provoked the LAFC to take a couple of shoots but Eddie Segura had the last touch to once again equalize the scoreboard and ended the match 3-3.
