L.A. Native Martin Oregel Joins Black & Gold For Inaugural eMLS Season

The Los Angeles Football Club (LAFC) announced today the official signing of its first eMLS player in Club history, Martin "RemiMartinn" Oregel.

The 22-year-old joins LAFC after participating in a host of online and live LAFC competitions. Oregel previously played for NoFuchsGiven eSports, which is owned by Leicester City player Christian Fuchs.

Oregel qualified for the 2019 Romania FUT Champions Cup, a 2018 FIFA Global Series Playoffs qualifier and was a 2018 Manchester FUT Champions Cup Top 8 finisher.

The Black & Gold are the latest addition to eMLS, which includes 25 eMLS competitors, each representing different MLS clubs. Austin FC and Nashville SC will also join eMLS.

MLS announced the creation of eMLS in January 2018, a dedicated esports league with professional EA SPORTS™ FIFA players representing MLS Clubs. eMLS activates via a competitive season – inclusive of eMLS League Series and eMLS Cup Presented by PlayStation – and other gaming programming.
