Dana White “something for Floyd in the fall”

The former 5 division world champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. (50-0, 27KOs) will be in action in the Fall according to UFC president Dana White . White has an agreement that will return the soon to be 43-year-old Mayweather to the ring in 2020.

White also said that he will meet with Premier Boxing Champions manager Al Haymon in the summer to setup a fight in the fall, it hasn’t been specified if it will be against a boxer or MMA fighter.

“Some things have to play out and then I’m going to start talking to (Al) Haymon maybe this summer and then I’ll have something for Floyd in the fall,” White told ESPN (via MMA Junkie). “The money is in Floyd competing.”

Mayweather last 2 fights have been against MMA fighters Connor McGregor and Tenshin Nasukawa in mismatches under boxing rules. Boxing fans are looking forward to seeing a competitive fight from the former champ.
