Keith Thurman Shakes Off Rust For Majority Decision Win over Josesito Lopez

Keith “One Time” Thurman returned to the ring after a 22-month layoff due to elbow and hand surgeries. Thurman (29-0, 22 KOs) defended his WBA welterweight title by majority decision against a hard hitter Josesito Lopez in PBC main event at the Barclays Center.

Scores: 113-113, 115-111, 117-109 in favor of Keith “One Time” Thurman.

Thurman had a great performance, it triggered a possibility to set up a pay-per-view match against the eight-division champion Manny Pacquiao. Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao defeated Adrien "The Problem" Broner with a unanimous decision at a sold-out MGM Grand Garden Arena.

Keith Thurman was asked what’s next?

"I most likely definitely take it," Thurman said of Pacquiao. "I'm going to have to talk to my team and my managers, but I feel good. That was a beautiful fight. I would love to have; maybe in Brooklyn, maybe in Vegas, wherever Manny wants. I'd fight him in the Philippines if that's where he wanted it, baby."
