Marco Fabian Arrival Sparks Hope of Philadelphia Union Becoming Cup Contenders

Philadelphia Union is coming off the highest point total in the team’s history and reaching the final of the U.S. Open Cup. Marco Fabian stated that he was so happy to be here and excited to be part of the Philadelphia Union. The Mexican international Marco Fabian is the highest-paid player in teams’ history as he was added to the roster as a Designated Player.
Marco Fabian thinks the Philadelphia Union is built to win and is ready to take the responsibility of leading the club.

Marco Fabian Experience
Club Level: Fabian played for eight years in Mexico, coming up through the Academy of Chivas Guadalajara where he debuted for the club’s first team in late 07. He had a total of 232 appearances, 57 goals and 36 assists for the club.
Fabian joined Frankfurt in 2016, making 35 appearances, 7 goals, and 7 assists. He was limited to eight appearances with on goal the last 18 months.

National Level: Fabian, 29 has 42 caps and nine goals for El Tri on the senior level and he was a contributor off the bench in both 2014 and 2018 FIFA World Cups. With the Mexican Under-23s, Fabian took the 2012 Olympic Qualifying Tournament title, scoring the game-tying goal in the final and equalizing for the tournament lead with five goals.
